PTE has computer-based scoring system and this automated scoring gives analytical results than humans do. PTE score includes overall score of both communicative skill score and enabling skill score. Here communicative skill is about listening, reading, writing, and speaking, and enabling skill is about grammar, vocabulary, spelling, oral fluency, pronunciation, and written discourse. Score for each communicative and enabling skill ranges from 10-90 points.

The score for each of them is presented in a graph that allows you to clearly see what you need to improve on. There is correct or incorrect and partial credit score given, where the correct answer is given 1 score and if the answer is incorrect no points are given. For partial credit, some points are given if the answer is somewhat correct.
