PTE

Pearson Test of English (PTE) is computer-based exam that is used to check the language proficiency of non-native English language speaker. For the test you will need computer and headset to listen and read the questions. PTE is less time consuming and the exam consists of four parts: reading, listening, writing, and speaking. Here speaking and writing part is done together. Overall time for the PTE is 2 hours and it is offered in more than 295 test centers.

PTE is recognized in various universities and the test results are available within 48 hours of giving the test. Because it is less time consuming it is beneficial as you will know how to improve and what should be done next. It is language test for people interested in international studies and immigration.

You do not have to wait a long time to schedule your test, you can schedule it 24 hours in advance. And as it is computer based, scoring is it fair as there is no biasness towards anyone. There are twenty types of question format that includes multiple choice, essay writing, summarizing, fill in the blanks, etc.

There are three principle parts to the test: Speaking and Writing (together), Reading and Listening. There is an optional 10-minute break between the Reading and Listening parts.
